Workplace Rehabilitation occurs in the workplace and uses work tasks as "therapy". It must be timely and appropriate to the employee's injury, the objectives of the rehabilitation plan and the employee's rate of recovery. The workplace is considered the most appropriatate location for the provision of services focused on maintenanace of or return to work of injured employee's. OTs understand the indvidual and consider work demands and the environment in order to optimize a client's work rehabilitation.
